ACTOR Rupert Grint, who plays Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter films, made The Creek Inn, Peel, his local when in the Island recently filming the comedy Wild Target.
Licensee Claire Turner said: 'He came in most days for his lunch and again in the evenings to watch the live bands.

'He did enjoy the Isle of Man, but felt Peel was different from other places.

'He was made to feel very welcome.

'People recognised him from the Harry Potter films, but they didn't pester him.'
