A total of 14 gardens will be open to the public in Glen Vine and Union Mills during the weekend of July 11-12.
Anti-Cancer ‘Middle in Bloom’ aims to raise money for the Marown and District Anti-Cancer Association. The gardens will be open each day 1pm till 4pm. Brochures cost £2.50 and cover the cost of entry to all the gardens. They are available from Kirby Garden Centre, Greeba Plant Centre, Eden Park, Union Mills Spar Shop and Strang Stores. Included in the gardens will be Glen Darragh Mill and the glen, the large garden at Ballavargher, off Ballahutchin, and the popular Glen Haven in Strang Road. Afternoon tea will also be available in the Millennium Hall, Crosby, for £4 a person, from 2pm till 5pm.
