ANIMATION adventure fantasy film, The Secret of Kells is to be shown as part of the Films in Peel series at the Peel Centenary Centre on Wednesday, March 9.
The film – which is certificate PG and lasts 75 minutes – tells the story of the boy behind the famed Book of Kells.
It will be shown at 6.30pm. Doors open 30 minutes before the show starts.
Refreshments available. Tickets for the film cost £4 (concessions £3) and are available from Celtic Gold in Peel or on the door.

The Book of Kells is an illuminated manuscript Gospel book in Latin, containing the four Gospels of the New Testament together with various prefatory texts and tables. It was created by Celtic monks.
