The best of Motown and soul music is coming to the Isle of Man in a one-night-only show that promises music to clap, dance and sing to.

Manx Dancing in the Street, taking place on Saturday, August 30 at the Villa Marina, will feature a feast of Motown and soul music including tributes to The Supremes and The Temptations.

The show, which is raising money for Hospice Isle of Man, is produced by the team that scored previous hits with Saturday Night Fever and Viva Manx Vegas.

PR and marketing manager for Hospice, Mary Doyle, said: ‘I worked with Colette Wylde and Michelle McCauley last year and went to the show Viva Manx Vegas.

‘I can honestly say I was astounded at the talent of the performers that appeared. I could have been in Vegas!

‘This year I am looking forward to being transported to Detroit.’

The event is being supported by PokerStars through its Helping Hands programme.

Tickets are priced at £15 for an adult and £10 for concessions. They are available from the box office on 600555 or online at
