The Isle of Man Organists’ Association is hosting an organ recital on Sunday at St Matthew’s Church, Douglas, at 3pm.
The recital will feature Stephen Disley, sub organist of Southwark Cathedral and founding director of its girls choir, which in addition to its commitments at the cathedral, has toured widely in Europe and made CD recordings.
As a recitalist and accompanist, Stephen appears frequently at the Royal Albert Hall. He has also performed and broadcast with ensembles including the London Mozart Players and the BBC Singers. Next year, he is appearing with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in two concerts at the Royal Festival Hall to mark the restoration of the hall’s organ.
