Friday night karaoke sessions, striving to be the hostess with the mostest and playing Call of Duty with her boyfriend.
That’s how Les Mis actress and singer Sam Barks has described her perfect weekend in a Daily Telegraph feature.
The 23-year-old, who recently visited Madagascar as one of the celebrities supporting WaterAid’s ‘To be a girl’ campaign, lives with her boyfriend, actor Richard Fleeshman, and chihuahua Lily in west London.
While her Friday night would be spent in a karaoke room with friends her Saturday evening might be throwing a dinner party.
She said: ‘I’m like Monica in Friends – always wanting to be the hostess with the mostest, even though I’m probably not. Most of my friends from the Isle of Man seem to live in London now and I love the fact that despite everything I’ve been doing for the past few years, nothing has changed within our relationships or in how they treat me.’
She revealed her love for Call of Duty, saying it’s how she’d like to spend her Sunday evening:
‘It’s a side of me that not a lot of people know about but I was a big games girl when I was a teenager and computer games are my guilty pleasure. We play together, not against each other, and I’d like to think we make a good team.’
She described herself as ‘a bit of a tomboy and 100 per cent not high maintenance in real life’, and said Lily was ‘such a diva on film sets’.
