Dance legends Utah Saints play at the Courthouse on Athol Street tonight in celebration of the bar’s first weekend open to the public.
The band, consisting of Tim Utah and Jez Willis, has been making music, DJ-ing and playing gigs around the globe since the birth of house music.
They have had nine top 40 UK hits, four of which hit the top 10 and have sold over two million records worldwide.
Amongst the artists they have toured with have been U2, Moby and the Prodigy.
Doors open at 10.30pm and admission is £5.
Other big names booked to play the Courthouse in the future include Ben Gold on Friday, April 25. Ben has played at Creamfields and Global Gathering, and has played alongside Avicii and Deadmau5.
On Friday May 9 Plump DJs will be playing. The legendary breakbeat DJs have played every festival from Glastonbury to Coachella and worked with Fatboy Slim and Deadmau5.
Radio One DJ Danny Howard will be at the club on Friday May 30, with legend Carl Cox there on Friday, June 6.
