Eisteddfod-winning choir Côr Godre’r Garth are staging a five-day Easter visit to the Isle of Man.

It began yesterday and carries on till Tuesday.

The mixed voice choir will take part in a special Celtic Voices in Concert on Easter Sunday in Ramsey during which they will be joined by the Manx choir Glenfaba Chorale in a programme organised by the Rotary Club of Ramsey.

And on Easter Monday they will perform in an informal concert at Milntown House, a 16th century refurbished home set in 15 acres of grounds.

This is the first time for the choir to be invited to travel to the isle of Man. Previous visits include Ireland, Scotland and Cornwall and other countries further afield.
