The Dancers Barre will present their production of Aladdin at the Gaiety Theatre in Douglas this weekend.
The 80 students of the Laxey-based dance school are fired up to take over the stage in all their costume finery. The show will be performed both tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday.
Owner of the school Rachel Withington said: ‘After 100 per cent examination success just under a year ago, Dancers Barre has thrown itself into huge preparations for Gaiety audiences.
‘Local children, aged four up to 17 years old, are ready to charm old and young alike with their magical story of Aladdin.’
She added: ‘The costumes are fantastic and the show will be really enjoyable, tracing Aladdin’s adventures at the market, into the cave and with the Genie of the Lamp.
The original music has been composed by Nicholas Roberts.
Performances are at 7.30pm tomorrow, and 2.30pm and 7.30pm on Saturday.
Tickets cost £14. Concessions are available.
