Guitar masterclass tickets now available online

TICKETS are now available online for the masterclasses during the Isle of Man GuitarFest.
They take place at Peter Norris Music, Douglas, on September 5 and 6 and cost £5 per masterclass for adults and £3 for juniors.

There are also big discounts available for those planning to go to all of the masterclasses.

World class musicians Pierre Bensusan, Gary Ryan, Rod Clements, Roger Inniss and Gordon Giltrap will all be sharing advice and tips at the events. To buy tickets see www.etickets.im/jonnopromotions.asp

The GuitarFest takes place from September 3 to 6 and features a wide range of talented international players as well as a stage featuring local performers.

Civil servants are to get a lump sum payment of £200 after a union successfully took this year's pay freeze to arbitration. But government claims it could cause job losses. Is it the right decision?
Yes. It is only fair and the £450,000 cost is not that significant.
No. There are plenty of other things that money could go to and what about those with pay freezes in the private sector.
Don't know. It's only fair if you're not one of those who loses their job as a result.
