TICKETS go on sale tomorrow (Saturday) for Bryan Adams's show at the Villa Marina.
Demand is believed to be very high with queues expected to form early and fans clamouring for tickets when they go on sale at 10am.

The Canadian rocker will be bringing his Very Special Solo Performance Tour to the Isle of Man on Wednesday, January 20, courtesy of Live Nation.

Tickets for the acoustic gig are from £40 and will be available from the Welcome Centre at the Sea Terminal, Douglas and the ticket hotline – 600555 – only.

They will not be available online or at the Villa and customers will be limited to buying a maximum of four tickets.

Bryan Adams is known for such mega hits as Run To You, (Everything I Do) I Do It For You, Can't Stop This Thing We Started, Summer of 69 and many more.

The Very Special Solo Performance Tour includes selections from Adams' 11th studio album, appropriately titled 11.

The Grammy-winning singer-songwriter has sold more than 65 million albums worldwide, garnered 21 top-10 hits and is a multiple-award winner.

Tourism and Leisure Minister Martyn Quayle MHK said: 'I am absolutely delighted to welcome a world class A-list artist such as Bryan Adams to the Villa Marina and the department looks forward to building a strong partnership with major international promoter, Live Nation.

'As a venue we continue to attract major artists in music, comedy and live theatre and strive to ensure that everyone living in the Isle of Man has access to the best possible quality of entertainment.'

Adams has been awarded the Order of British Columbia and is a companion of the Order of Canada. He has received an award for Artist of the Decade and is a member of the Juno Hall of Fame (also known as the Canadian Music Hall of Fame).

He also has a star on Canada's Walkway of Fame and added his handprint to the Wembley Square of Fame in celebration of his 25th show at the stadium.

Bryan Adams's live performances have benefited the Prince's Trust, Live Aid, Live 8, The Concert for Freedom for Nelson Mandela, Greenpeace, Amnesty International, Net Aid, The Canadian Avalanche Foundation and breast cancer, as well as campaigns to save the rainforests, provide food and comfort for the needy and create whale sanctuaries.

Through his own foundation he has also helped build schools in areas of southeast Asia devastated by the tsunami in 2004.

Adams is also an acclaimed photographer and shot the 2008-2009 ad campaign for Guess. He's donating his fees from the project to his namesake foundation that funds projects supporting the elderly, victims of wars and natural disasters and other disadvantaged individuals.
