Police in the north of the island had a busy Saturday night with no fewer than five arrests.
The offences ranged from burglary to common assault.
A police spokesman said: ‘On the whole most people have been well behaved and enjoyed their night before going home to their own beds, unfortunately we still have a select few who would prefer a night in the cells followed by some tough questions in the morning.
‘We would like to thank our colleagues from the Western Community Team and Douglas Patrol Team for their assistance tonight.’
