Police have identified the prisoner who died last Friday, November 25, as Craig Anderson.

A police spokesman said that they were investigating Mr Anderson’s death on behalf of the Coroner of Inquests.

Police have asked that the public ‘refrain from speculating on the circumstances of what occurred given the impact that this may have on Mr Anderson’s family and friends at this sensitive time’.

The police will be making no further comments at this time.
