A company director from Port St Mary has denied a charge of polluting controlled waters.
Patrick David Lewis, aged 54, of Beach Road, pleaded not guilty and also entered a not guilty plea on behalf of Paddlemann Limited, of Stoney Mountain Road, Foxdale.
The offence is alleged to have taken place at Clough Willey stream on December 14.
A pre-trial review will take place on August 23.
The maximum penalty for the offence is a £20,000 fine or six months custody.
