The structure, which stands approximately 10 feet tall, was discovered after drifting onto the shoreline during high tide.
Officials have confirmed that the incident has been reported to His Majesty’s Coastguard in the UK, along with the General Lighthouse Authorities, to ensure appropriate action is taken.
The IOM Coastguard are urging members of the public not to approach or interfere with the buoy.
This is due to its size and unstable position on the shoreline.
It is not secured and could topple, posing a potential safety risk.
