These are the faces of two organised crime gang members who will be banned from the island for five years after their release from prison.

Mark Jones and Reece Coley, both from Manchester, played their part in a UK gang that brought drugs, including cocaine and ketamine, to the island before transporting the criminal proceeds back to the UK.

Jones, 47, of Dutton Street, visited the island four times between September and December 2024, when he was instructed to collect drugs money and return with it by ferry.

Coley, 32, of Keyhaven Walk, collected the cash from couriers before passing it on to those higher up the criminal network.

The pair previously admitted conspiring to remove criminal property and appeared at the Court of General Gaol Delivery on Friday for sentencing.

Prosecutor Roger Kane told the court Jones was stopped during a routine search at the ferry terminal in Douglas on November 14, 2024.

His BMW X3 was searched and officers discovered £14,860 in cash in the boot.

Two mobile phones seized from Jones uncovered evidence of the organised gang's drugs operation and the movement of criminal cash.

The information led to the arrest of several other gang members, who have since received lengthy prison sentences.

Jones was in regular contact with gang facilitator Kane Jones, who has since been jailed for 10 years, and was directed to meet contacts on the island to collect cash.

He made four trips to the island between September and December 2024, removing criminal cash totalling around £40,000.

During the investigation, police also identified Coley through evidence recovered from the mobile phones. He was known within the gang as 'IoM money drop'.

In his basis of plea, Coley admitted involvement in three cash collections totalling around £25,000.

Jones was jailed for 28 months, while Coley was sentenced to 23 months. Both men will be excluded from the island for five years after their release.
