A 44-year-old Douglas man accused of importing cannabis to the island has been committed to the Court of General Gaol Delivery.
Geraint Richard Darren Lee Hughes, of Christian Road, is accused of importing 900 grams, valued by police at £18,000.
He will appear at the higher court on September 18.
He is also charged with possessing cannabis with intent to supply, and simple possession.
Mr Hughes was already due to appear on that date in relation to an earlier charge, of importing 124 grams of cocaine to the island in the post, valued at £12,000.
Mr Hughes has previously entered a ‘no plea’ response to that charge.
He was represented in court by advocate David Reynolds and is currently remanded.
