Billy Robert Sumner will now face a pre-trial review in summary court on February 10 next year.
The offence is alleged to have been committed at Atholl Place in Peel on November 27.
Sumner, who lives at Glenfaba Road, pleaded guilty to threatening behaviour on November 7, which was committed at Atholl Place.
The 29-year-old has also previously pleaded guilty to an offence of disorderly behaviour on licensed premises, which was committed at the Whitehouse pub in Peel on July 20.
Sentencing for the two admitted offences will take place on January 20, after a probation report has been prepared.
He was represented in court by advocate Helen Lobb.
