A 50-year-old man has denied being involved in importing a kilo cocaine to the island.
Steven Neil Connolly, whose address was given as the Isle of Man Prison, appeared before Deputy High Bailiff Rachel Braidwood recently, via video link from the prison.
The offence is alleged to have been committed on March 26, with the cocaine having been valued by police at over £100,000.
Mr Connolly was represented in court by advocate Laurence Vaughan-Williams.
Prosecuting advocate Harry Bellis submitted that the case should be committed to the Court of General Gaol Delivery, bearing in mind the quantity involved.
