A 47-year-old Jurby woman has denied fraud and theft allegations.

Elizabeth Amy Kathleen Crowe, of Clenagh Road, is accused of the theft of a bank card on December 20.

She is then accused of using it for transactions twice at Tesco on Bowring Road in Ramsey, and once at Spar on Parliament Street, on December 21.

She pleaded not guilty to theft and three counts of fraud by false representation.

The alleged transactions were said to total £207.

Ms Crowe was represented in court by advocate Ian Kermode.

The prosecution and defence agreed that the case was suitable for trial in summary court.

Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood accepted summary court jurisdiction and a pre-trial review will be held on October 13.

Bail continues.
