A Jurby woman has been fined £400 for being drunk and disorderly.
Thirty-nine-year-old Stephanie Ann Brown called emergency services on July 9, asking police to check if her ex-partner was at her address.
They confirmed he wasn’t, but Brown then called again, saying she’d go into the sea if police didn’t give her a lift home.
Officers found her behind the Outdoors store in Ramsey.
She swore, saying: ‘F*** this, why are you here? This is f****** police brutality.’
An ambulance crew dealt with her, but then reported that they didn’t feel safe, and she was arrested.
Brown, of The Threshold, told probation she’d been kayaking alone and had drunk seven cans of cider.
Magistrates also ordered £50 prosecution costs.
