Nicholas Lyndon Crowe, aged 52, of Old Sulby Road, Sulby, will face a trial in summary court on September 29.
He has previously denied sending an offensive, indecent, or menacing message on February 10.
The message was allegedly sent to an employee of Ballakermeen High School.
Mr Crowe was represented in court by advocate Jim Travers.
Bail continues in the sum of £500.
