Direct flights from the Isle of Man to holiday destinations in Spain and Portugal will return next summer as FlyDirect launches its 2027 programme.

The programme, operated by C. I. Travel Group, will run from the beginning of May until the end of October, with weekly services to Majorca, Malaga on the Costa del Sol and Faro in the Algarve.

The company said it expects more than 5,000 islanders to travel on its flights during 2027.

The group said it is increasing capacity across the Isle of Man, Guernsey and Jersey, citing continued demand for direct flights and package holidays.

Child discounts of between £50 and £200 per child, which were introduced last year, will continue to be available on every flight.

Discounts will also be offered to larger groups travelling together, including during the summer school holidays.

The company said a wider choice of hotel accommodation would also be available across different price ranges.

All flights from the Isle of Man will be operated by FlyDirect's partner airline BA CityFlyer, a subsidiary of British Airways.

Services will use Embraer 190 aircraft, with a two-by-two seating configuration and a stated 33-inch seat pitch.

Passengers will have an allowance of 20kg of hold baggage and 10kg of cabin baggage.
