An appeal has been made for memorabilia from the First World War for a display to mark 100 years since the end of the conflict.

The exhibition will be held in Port St Mary town hall.

The display will honour the bravery of the men and women from the village who left their homes to fight or help with the war effort - some never to return. Artefacts, letter or photographs associated with the village will be displayed from November 6 to 10 (open from 10am to 4pm). To supply material contact the commissioners’ office, phone 832101 or email [email protected]
