Annual raffles organised by the Ballakermeen High School Association have raised almost £2,000 to support pupils and projects at the school.

The fundraising events were made possible thanks to generous donations from Tesco on Lake Road and the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company, with prizes including two hampers and a £100 travel voucher.

Money raised by the association helps fund projects identified by school staff to support student learning and development.

Previous initiatives have included providing life support training equipment, audio recording equipment for the Talking in the Dark podcast, resources for language students and new gym equipment.

The association is now seeking further prize donations for future raffles.
