Promoter Live Roots Music IoM is bringing a night of roots, folk and acoustic music to Laxey this weekend.

The event, taking place at Laxey Working Men’s Institute on Saturday, September 12 at 7.30pm, will feature Australian duo JC & The Tree, supported by two Manx artists.

Kestrel, the stage name of Naomi Haworth, blends dreamy indie-pop, piano, synths and folk influences, while singer-songwriter Harry Roe brings atmospheric folk, gentle psychedelia and acoustic sounds to his performances.

JC & The Tree will bring their soulful folk-rock and roots sound from Australia, with heartfelt harmonies and an uplifting live performance.

The event will showcase emerging island talent alongside international artists, with organisers describing it as a special night of live music.
