A man has admitted stealing more than £1,000 worth of goods from Douglas stores.
Craig Philip Teare stole fragrances valued at £869 from Boots on September 25, and various items, valued at £190, from Jac Stores on September 22.
Forty-year-old Teare, of Tromode House, admitted both thefts, as well as making a nuisance phone call to police on September 2.
He’s already subject to a two-year probation order, imposed in August, after breaching the terms of his early prison release.
In August 2024, Teare was jailed for two years and nine months, after sexually assaulting a teenage girl on a bus.
Sentencing for the latest offences was adjourned until October 8, while an update from probation is obtained.
A bail application was refused.
