UCM (University College Isle of Man) is inviting prospective students to explore the wide-range of learning opportunities at its 2026 open evening, being held at UCM’s Homefield Road Campus on Thursday, November 19.

During the event, which takes place between between 4pm and 7pm, visitors will have the chance to experience the campus, meet staff, and discover more about the wide range of courses available for school students in Years 10 and 11s (aged 14 to 16) considering their next steps, anyone considering university, or adults looking to retrain or upskill.

The event will provide insights into life at UCM, giving attendees the opportunity to tour specialist facilities, speak with expert staff, find out about fees and funding, and learn more about the flexible learning options designed to support learners at every stage of their educational journey.

UCM’s principal Jesamine Kelly, said: ‘Our open evening is the perfect opportunity for prospective students, and their friends and family, to see first-hand what makes UCM such a great place to study.

‘Visitors can explore our facilities, meet our experienced teaching teams, and find out how studying at UCM can support future career aspirations.’

Alongside UCM’s staff from training services, student awards and Keyll Darree will be on hand to discuss funding and nursing, respectively.

UCM offers a wide range of courses in subjects such as art and design, IT, childcare and early years education, catering, hospitality and food services, hairdressing and barbering, beauty therapy, sport, business, creative media, health and social care, construction, architecture and surveying, engineering, and animal and land management.
