Kista Martin, aged 45, Patrick Road, St John’s, appeared in court this week charged with not having a dog under proper control.

The offence is alleged to have been committed on November 24 and involve a Newfoundland Cross Poodle.
Defence advocate Jim Travers asked for an adjournment until April 11, saying that time was needed to put together the defence case.
