Isle of Man cyclists Matthew Bostock and Ben Swift get their 2026 Commonwealth Games campaigns underway today (Friday).

The track cycling events at the Glasgow games fired into life on Thursday at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome, with the island duo taking to the boards 24 hours later.

Bocky will be in men's 4,000m individual pursuit qualifying at 12.29pm this lunchtime and, should he progress, the final takes centre stage this evening at 6.16pm.

A little over an hour later, team-mate Ben Swift will represent the Isle of Man for a second time – having first done so in Birmingham four years ago – when he lines up in the men's elimination race final at 7.23pm.

The pair are then expected to be back in action on Saturday morning when they take to the startline in the men's 10km scratch race qualifying round at 11.49am.

Should they qualify, the final itself is due to get underway later in the day at 6.20pm.

Then on Sunday – the final day of this year's Commonwealth Games – Bocky and Swift are both expected to contest the men's 40km points race qualifying round which begins at 9.39am.

The points race final then brings the curtain down on the 23rd edition of the Games at 4.39pm later the same day, prior to the closing ceremony taking place inside the OVO Hydro at 9pm.
