Ardern and Druggan Division Two leaders Castletown are not in action this weekend, leaving the chasing pack an opportunity to close the gap at the top of the table.

Second-placed Foxdale travel to Michael United looking to maintain the pressure on the leaders.

The Billy Goat Park side have won four of their five games so far and go into the contest on the back of a thrilling 7-6 victory over Gymns last Saturday.

Michael, meanwhile, sit sixth with seven points from four games, having beaten Gymns 5-4 in their previous outing.

The latter side will look to bounce back when they entertain fourth-placed DHSOB. The Tromode side have nine points from five matches but suffered their second defeat of the campaign against Foxdale in an 11-goal thriller last weekend.

Old Boys moved to within a point of third place after a 4-0 victory over Douglas and District, so will be hoping to make it back-to-back wins.

Douglas Royal and Marown meet at Ballafletcher in a contest between sides separated by four points in the table.

Royal are still searching for their first league win and have three points from six matches, although they have drawn three times. Marown are seventh on seven points after edging St George’s 4-3 last weekend.

At Noble's Park, Douglas and District will be looking for their first victory of the campaign when they welcome Ayre United.

D&D have one point from five matches and have lost their last four, while Ayre climbed to 11th with their first win last weekend when beating Royal 4-3.

The final fixture sees St George’s host Pulrose United at Glencrutchery Road. The teams are separated by three points, with Geordies eighth on six points and Pully ninth on the same tally but having played two fewer matches.

The Saints will be looking to recover from their narrow defeat by Marown, while Pulrose have won their last two league games.
