Peel AFC hit double figures for a second successive time in the Canada Life Women's League on Sunday, beating their biggest rivals Corinthians 10-1 at Douglas Road.

And the star of the show again was Scarlett Callister who netted another quadruple – having also done so the previous weekend. She was joined on the scoresheet with Lisa Costain (3), Rachel Blaylock, Jenny Metcalfe and Pippa Wallis.

Douglas and District recorded their first ever win in only their second senior match after beating Union Mills 3-1.

Georgia Higgins opened the scoring for the Noble’s Park side before debutante Lauren Harrison doubled their lead, giving the newcomers a 2-0 half-time lead.

Lou Ruddock pulled a goal back for the Millers, but Higgins netted again to secure the win and registered their first points on the league table.

Rushen Utd also secured their first win over the season, defeating 10-player Onchan 3-0 at Blackberry Lane.

Player/manager Donna Harrison gave the southerners a 1-0 half-time lead, before Lucy Kerr and Becky Watterson netted for the Port Erin side in the second half.
