The 2026 Manx Grand Prix and Classic TT get underway around the Mountain Course this Sunday, August 16, bringing a series of road closures across the island.

Action begins with speed-controlled laps for newcomers, followed by qualifying for the Junior, Sportbike, Senior and Supersport MGP classes.

Further Manx Grand Prix and Classic TT qualifying sessions will take place throughout next week, before racing gets underway on Saturday, August 22.

Further racing follows on August 24 and 25.

The Classic races begin on Monday, August 24, before a full day on Wednesday, August 26, and again on Friday, August 28, with a rest day or contingency day in between.

The scheduled Mountain Course Road closure times are:

* Sunday, August 16: 12.45pm to no later than 6pm

* Monday, August 17: 6pm-9pm

* Tuesday, August 18: 6pm-9pm

* Wednesday, August 19: 6pm-9pm

* Thursday, August 20: 6pm-9pm

* Friday, August 21: 9.30am-5pm

* Saturday, August 22: 9.30am-9pm

* Monday, August 24: 9.30am-5pm and 6pm-9pm

* Wednesday, August 26: 9.30am-5pm and 6pm-9pm

* Friday, August 27: 9.30am-5pm and 6pm-9pm
