Peel Coastguard’s busy weekend continued on Saturday evening as they assisted paramedics in moving a casualty off Peel Hill.
A post on the organisation’s Facebook page said: ’The team were paged by M.O.C [Marine Operations Centre] to assist paramedics with a casualty extraction from Peel Hill.
’Once the casualty was stabilised, they were secured into our basket stretcher and carried down to the awaiting ambulance.’
On Friday evening the group had been called to help a youth who had become disoriented on Whitestrand Beach.
