A 43-year-old man has pleaded guilty to conduct amounting to harassment.
Andrew Fenton of Cronk Grianagh, Braddan, pleaded guilty when he appeared at Douglas Courthouse.
Two other charges of action also amounting to harassment have been dropped.
We have previously reported that Fenton was accused of posting numerous Facebook messages accusing men of being part of a paedophile ring.

It was said that four men had been arrested and interviewed in relation to the accusations but had been released without charge.
Prosecuting advocate Barry Swain described Fenton’s accusations as ’spurious’.
Fenton will be sentenced on November 19 after the completion of a social enquiry report.
