Even more amendments have been made to Hooded Ram’s plans for a beer tent in the Bottleneck car park on Douglas seafront, close to the TT deadline.

The revised application (18/00283/B), received by government planners last week, shows the marquee has more than doubled to 1,060 squared-metres, up from 420 sq/m and includes the stage inside it.

A brewery spokesman told the Examiner an alcohol licence was granted on Thursday (April 12).

But the company has still not answered our questions on why the proposals have changed from the initial artist’s impression of a two-storey building.
