Beach Buddies is getting involved in the Great British Spring Clean this weekend, in conjunction with Surfers Against Sewage.

Events are being held across the weekend in the Isle of Man, and it’s not just confined to beaches.

The weekend starts with an event on Ramsey North Promenade where the charity is hosting an event for Ramsey Youth Club juniors on the beach opposite Ramsey Rugby Club.

All equipment will be provided and everyone is invited to come along and join in.

Then, on Sunday at 10.30am, the group will join again with the Jurby Community Centre for another clean-up.

Volunteers should meet at the Jurby Community Centre from 10.30am onwards.

The group also running a beach cleaning event on a nearby beach at the same time but will be gathering at the same meeting point.
