Businesswoman Michelle Mone is poised to launch a new lingerie company three years after she left the industry.
The entrepreneur, who lives with her boyfriend Doug Barrowman in the Isle of Man, announced on social media that, after becoming “disappointed” with the industry, she plans to launch a new underwear line next year.
She vowed it will be bigger than her previous company, Ultimo, which became a famous global brand.
Glaswegian Michelle, 46, has told her army of more than a million Twitter followers:’Breaking News... I invented 17 worldwide inventions and became one of the biggest names in the lingerie industry.
’After a three year break and being disappointed with the industry I’m coming back with a bang.
’My own brand will launch in 2018 and will be bigger than all the others including Ultimo.’
After moving to the island earlier this year to set up home with her partner, fellow Glaswegian Doug Barrowman, 52, Michelle told a glossy magazine: ’I feel like I’m in a fairytale. A beautiful dream I don’t ever want to wake up from.’
The couple were featured relaxing at home in Mr Barrowman’s house in the island.
She was made a Conservative peer in the House of Lords by David Cameron when he was prime minister.
