A group of students from Saint Vincent and the Grenadines received a warm welcome from Culture Vannin during an educational visit to the Isle of Man.
The trip was organised by International Student Exchange Programs (ISEP Study Abroad), giving the students an opportunity to learn about Manx culture and language.
They met Culture Vannin board member Professor Angela Little, who introduced them to some Manx words before taking them to the organisation's headquarters to learn more about its work and receive Manx language pocket guides.
The group then travelled to Peel, where they visited the Cathedral and enjoyed Yn Chruinnaght.
Culture Vannin staff were especially pleased to meet a Garifuna speaker, whose endangered language shares similarities with the revival of Manx.
The students will also learn 'Ellan Vannin' using resources produced by Manx Music.
