A charity golf day has raised more than £10,000 for two Isle of Man causes.

Capital International’s Capital Cup Charity Golf Challenge was held at Douglas Golf Club on Friday, August 7, raising money for Cancer Research Isle of Man and Isle Listen.

The event attracted 68 players representing 18 local businesses, with competitors taking part in a number of challenges alongside the main competition.

These included Closest to the Pin, Longest Drive and a ‘Beat the Pro’ contest.

Isle of Man Ladies Champion Emma Noon also attended and put players to the test during the day.

Capital International thanked businesses which entered teams, sponsored the event and donated prizes.

The company also thanked Matty Evans for his work organising the event.
