Guy Davies booked his place in the men’s 100m breaststroke semi-finals in record-breaking fashion at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.

The Manx swimmer shattered the existing island record by more than a second during his qualifying heat this morning (Friday), sealing his place in the semis with his effort of 1 minute 4.88 seconds.

His semi-final takes place today at roughly 11.32am (UK time), while fellow Isle of Man swimming star goes for glory in the women’s 100m butterfly final shortly afterwards at 12.51pm.
