An Onchan man has been fined £1,500 for possessing cocaine and provoking behaviour outside the Outback.
Jason Craig Kneale, 32, was arrested after the incident on March 29.
Police separated him and another male as Kneale was said to have grabbed him around the chest area and pushed him back into a garage door.
A search found 1.8 grams of cocaine in his sock.
Kneale initially denied the provoking behaviour offence, but on July 7, changed his plea to guilty.
He said he’d believed he was going to be assaulted so had been pushing the other male away.
Magistrates also ordered Kneale to pay £300 prosecution costs and he will pay all amounts at a rate of £100 per month.
