Three Peel women have now admitted harassing a man after keys bearing his phone number were distributed around the island.

Forty-eight-year-old Shona Dugdale, who had previously denied the offence, changed her plea to guilty ahead of a pre-trial review.

Two other women, Nicolle Claire Mears, also known as Plumley, aged 47, of Belle Vue, Peel, and Claire Louise Reynoldson, aged 45, of Fuchsia Road, Peel, had already admitted the same offence.

The defendants are said to have distributed keys around the island bearing the complainant’s phone number, resulting in him receiving numerous calls from people saying they had found his keys.

When changing her plea, Dugdale submitted a basis of plea stating that she had distributed only three keys and had not been involved in any further distribution.

All three defendants are due to be sentenced on September 10.
