Shuttle buses will be running from the centre of Douglas to the Big Manx Feast at Noble’s Park this weekend.

These are free for people who have already bought advance tickets for event, or only £1 for those that haven’t.

Operating as the ‘92’ service they will run from Victoria Street, before heading along the prom and up to Glencrutchery Road via Broadway and Victoria Road.

Running every 30 minutes, the first service leaves at 10.40am.

All children under the age of 16 are free when accompanied by an adult.

Some parking is available at Noble’s Park adjacent to the main site and in the car park behind the TT Grandstand. Additional overflow parking will be available at University College Isle of Man’s Greenfield Road campus.

Peel-based international cake artist Aimee Ford will host a guest line-up led by TV chef Michela Chiappa, who is set to present live demonstrations and lead an exclusive ‘fireside chat’ on the festival’s speaker stage.

Joining Chiappa are Great British Bake Off star Toby Littlewood and viral social media sensation Pierre.le.Chef, both highlighting local ingredients at the Cookery Theatre.

Meanwhile, Jack Rowbottom of Jack’s Meat Shack will lead the outdoor Manx Meat Shack, teaming up with UK pitmasters and island-based Michelin-trained chef George Harris to cook Manx produce over open charcoal and fire.

Visitors can also enjoy the Feasting Hall, a central dining space featuring local food traders, an all-Manx bar and live music.

There will also be a Kids’ Zone offering hands-on science, nature activities and family entertainment.

The festival runs 10am to 7.30pm on Saturday and 11am to 6pm on Sunday.
