The police are asking for help in their investigation into a row on a bus.

Even though it happened on March 29, they made their appeal yesterday.

The verbal altercation took place on the 6A bus from Douglas to Ramsey. It left Lord Street in Douglas at 11.07pm.

It involved a man and some juveniles upon this bus, as it made its way from Douglas to St John's.

A police spokesman said: 'We would be keen to speak to anyone who witnessed this incident. If anyone can assist officers with enquiries, they are being urged to please contact the Peel police station on 842208 quoting the reference number 97/2851/23.

'Alternatively information can be passed anonymously to CrimeStoppers on 0800 555 111.'
