A Douglas woman has admitted assaulting a police officer and being drunk in public.

Thirty-six-year-old Jessica Marguerita Radcliffe appeared before Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood on September 15.

The offences were committed on August 29.

The assault was committed in a police vehicle, while she was being transported, while the other offence was committed at Noble’s Hospital.

Radcliffe, of Cushag Road, is due for a pre-trial review on October 6, for a previously denied allegation of making nuisance calls to emergency services.

She’s also previously admitted making off without paying for a taxi on July 6, and assaulting a police officer on May 1.

Sentencing for the guilty pleas will take place after the outcome of any trial.

Bail continues.
