Emergency services are responding to a road traffic collision in Douglas this afternoon.
The Isle of Man Constabulary, shortly after 3.40pm on Thursday, said the incident had occurred on Derby Road and urged motorists to avoid the area where possible.
In a social media update, police said: ‘Emergency Services are dealing with an RTC on Derby Road, Douglas currently.
‘Please try and avoid the area and consider alternative routes. Thank you for your understanding.’
The incident comes after police attended two separate road traffic collisions elsewhere in Douglas earlier on Thursday morning.
One collision occurred at the junction of Alexander Drive and Woodbourne Road, where the road was partially blocked.
A second incident was reported on Albany Road, with part of the road also blocked while emergency services attended.
Woodbourne Road was temporarily closed between the junctions with Alexander Drive, Derby Road and Hillary Road while the Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service worked to isolate a vehicle.
Motorists were advised to avoid the affected areas where possible and allow extra time for their journeys.
