The League of Friends of Noble’s Hospital has provided funding to buy furniture for a quiet room in the medical outpatients’ department.

The charity donated about £1,200 to furnish the room, which was restored to its intended use after years as a makeshift storeroom.

Nurse Gilly Culshaw was the driving force behind the project and.

And with the support of hospital managers, Gilly cleared the room before it was given a fresh coat of paint.
