A fault affecting runway lighting at Isle of Man Airport has been repaired after disrupting flights on Monday evening.
The Department of Infrastructure (DoI) confirmed that full lighting capability had been restored to Runway 08/26 following work to identify and resolve the issue.
In an update, the department said: ‘Our teams worked continuously to identify and resolve the issue as quickly and safely as possible.’
It apologised for the inconvenience caused and thanked passengers, airlines and airport users for their patience.
The disruption included the cancellation of easyJet flight EZY518 to Liverpool, which had been scheduled to depart at 3.50pm.
Passengers had boarded the aircraft at around 5.30pm while awaiting an update, and the service was subsequently rescheduled for 6.30pm before its cancellation was confirmed.
Other flights in and out of Ronaldsway that evening were also cancelled.
A NOTAM is an official notice informing pilots and air traffic controllers of hazards, changes or restrictions that may affect flights.
