Children of parents who are separated can still travel between households.
Chief Minister Howard Quayle confirmed in Wednesday’s Covid-19 press conference that a parent can continue to see their child, providing that each parent is socially distanced, don’t enter each other’s households and follow lockdown regulations such as wearing a face covering.
Grandparents or close family members can also look after the children of key workers, the Department of Health and Social Care has confirmed.
Health Minister David Ashford said the rules would be the same as the last lockdown, as long as the children are dropped-off and collected in a similar way to that of separated parents.
